Big Bold Tasks helps business owners capture and organize tasks. This policy explains what information is processed, why it is used, and the controls available to users.
Information we process

Where task data is stored
Task lists and task photos are stored in authenticated account-specific cloud storage and cached locally for offline use. Signing back into the same account can restore cloud-saved tasks after reinstalling or changing devices. Reminder identifiers and device calendar event identifiers stay local to each device and are not synchronized.
How information is used
Information is used to operate authentication, task capture, voice transcription, reminders, calendar features, support, security, troubleshooting, and privacy requests. Big Bold Tasks does not use task content for advertising and does not sell personal information.
Service providers
Cloud hosting, database, and object-storage providers support account services and account-specific task and photo backup. Google and Apple process authentication when selected. A speech service processes audio when voice capture is used. Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat process subscription purchases, entitlement status, restoration, and management. Their handling is governed by their applicable terms and privacy practices.
Permissions and choice
Microphone, camera, photo, calendar, and notification access is optional and requested when a related feature is used. Permissions can be changed in device settings. Basic text-task use remains available without those permissions.
Retention
Account records and cloud-saved task data remain while an account is active. Tasks moved to Deleted remain restorable until permanently deleted or the account is deleted. Device caches remain until account deletion, app-data removal, or app removal. Voice audio is transmitted for transcription and is not intentionally retained after the request completes. Subscription transaction records may remain with Apple, Google, or RevenueCat as required for billing, restoration, fraud prevention, accounting, or law. Privacy requests are kept only as reasonably needed to process and document them or as required by law.
Account deletion
Users can delete an account immediately from Account → Delete Account. This removes the server account, credentials, account-linked plan-selection records, cloud-saved tasks and task photos, clears that account’s local task cache on the current device, removes cached sign-in data, and attempts to cancel reminders and remove calendar events created for those tasks. Users who cannot access the app can use the public deletion request.
Security
Safeguards include password hashing, signed sessions, authenticated synchronization and deletion, account-specific cloud and device storage, and encrypted transport. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Big Bold Tasks is a business productivity service and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes and contact
The effective date will change when this policy is materially updated. Privacy questions and deletion requests can be submitted through the Account Deletion and Privacy Request form.
